• Luna is … European flare to American cuisine, focusing on using fresh, local ingredients to conceive an eclectic menu full of flavor and balance of vegetarian, meat, and seafood dishes. Our small plate concept, using tapas, is designed to give our guests the flexibility to dine in many different ways.

    Whether you are enjoying a glass of wine with an appetizer, ordering a collection of tapas to share with a group of friends and family, or ordering from our menu of entrees, our goal is to provide you with the opportunity to taste and enjoy many different flavors and combinations.

    Luna also offers over 60 wines from around the world, a large collection of micro brewed and imported beers and a full bar including specialty house drinks and cocktails. Come and enjoy live music every Sunday brunch!

  • ABOUT US

    Cafe Luna originally opened in the spring of 2003 on the corner of First and Green Street in the heart of campus town. Brother and sister duo, Iren and Raquel Aikman, son and daughter to the owners of The Bread Company in Urbana, joined forces using their years of experience working in restaurants both here and abroad to open a small family style bistro in their hometown of Champaign.

    Their style and menu derived through years of formal training in Europe, an interest in serving smaller, healthier dishes and traditional cooking to incorporate international flavors while using a collection of local farms for their seasonal ingredients.

    In the spring of 2008, Luna relocated to the former train station on the corner of Chestnut and University.
